• Account data: Email address, password (hashed), and if you use LinkedIn sign-in, data provided by LinkedIn (e.g., name, profile picture) as permitted by their policies and your privacy settings.
• Profile and business data: Name, company name, industry, and other details you enter during onboarding or in your settings.
• Conversation data: Messages, documents, and context you submit in the advisor chat, including the content used to generate your Investor Signal Snapshot.
• Device & Log data: Information your browser or device automatically sends, such as IP address, browser type, and operating system, which helps us ensure security and functionality.
• Usage data: Metrics on how you interact with the Service (e.g., pages visited, features used), which we use to improve the product.

3. How We Use Your Information & AI Training

We use the information above to provide and operate the advisor chat, generate your Investor Signal Snapshot, personalize your experience, and provide customer support.

AI Model Training: We do NOT use your personal data or private conversation content to train our underlying foundational AI models.

No Sale of Data: We do not sell your personal or business information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We may share your information under the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: We share data with trusted third parties that help us run the Service (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics, communication tools).
• Third-Party AI Processors: Your conversation content is processed by third-party artificial intelligence providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google APIs) to deliver the advisor experience. We rely on API agreements with these providers that explicitly prohibit them from using your data to train their public models.
• Legal Obligations: We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a merger or sale of assets.

5. Data Retention and Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You have the right to request the deletion of your account and associated chat logs at any time. Upon deletion, your data will be securely removed from our active databases, though some residual data may remain in secure backups for a limited time to comply with legal obligations.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, or request data portability.
